Before you write

If your message is about an existing order, include your order number and, where relevant, the exact error message or code you see on screen. That single detail is usually the difference between resolving something in one reply and going back and forth for a day.

What we can help with

• Choosing an edition. Tell us what the machine is for and what it needs to do, and we will tell you which license fits — including when a cheaper edition is enough.
• Server licensing. Send us the server's processor and core count plus how many users or devices connect, and we will work out the core licenses and CALs you actually need.
• Volume and business orders. Give us the products and quantities and we will quote you, invoice your company, or work to a purchase order.
• Activation problems. Order number and error message, and we will take it from there.
• Anything that went wrong. If an order did not arrive or is not what you expected, tell us — we would rather hear it directly.

Response times

We answer as quickly as we can, and we will not leave you without a reply. If something needs to be checked with a distributor before we can answer properly, we will tell you that rather than go quiet.
